Over the weekend I had the pleasure of seeing the lovely Brandy Olley and her booth at the Clothing Show (new location, not as streamlined as the other times I’ve gone … also … TFC game = TFC jackets, hats, scarves EVERYWHERE. Scary stuff when you add beer and streetcars).
Her jewelry line, Salvage Designs, reuses antique materials she finds at estate sales, auctions, everywhere she can find them really, to create earrings, bracelets and necklaces. I’ll have to let her know that next time I’m in Kingston I’ll be looking for a ring from her hand hammered brass feather limited edition collection. You can see the bracelet and earrings here.
I also bought earrings that would’ve gone well with the Aloha bracelet on her blog.
Brandy is also a co-founder of yoga centre in Kingston – way to make a girl feel lazy.
